For instance, in here we read Night which is about the Holocaust. Going through school we learned about the Holocaust. I remember one of my teacher's had a poster that said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." I never really "got" thos quote until I met Mr. Kase. Yes, I had read about the Holocaust. Yes, I understood that this is something that could happen again, Yes, I believed it was some thing that needed to be stopped, but no, it was not real to me. It became real to me the day I met Mr. Kase. The Holocaust was no longer and event in history; it was a person. When I read this quote, I am 100% sure that it is true.
